The first time I saw the work of Paul Thek was in Paris in the later half of 2007. Some of Thek's work was included in The Third Mind exhibition at Le Palais de Tokyo; a show that also featured work by William Burroughs, Andy Warhol, Cady Noland, and a ton of other great interesting artists. Since then I've often found myself Googling and gawping at images of Thek's work. I was recently clearing out the hard drive of my laptop and I found a little folder where I'd stored a random selection of .jpegs of his work, so I decided to post them here. And yeah, just for the record (not that it particularly matters) I think that the very first image is my absolute favourite. Enjoy. TM x
